About Confluencia

CONFLUENCIA is a National Level Symposium to be hosted by the Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee. It is a departmental event that aims at bringing together luminaries from industry and academia on one platform to share their views on the latest trends in the Industry.In its first edition, CONFLUENCIA 2008 is a sincere attempt to bring together the ideas from the eminent speakers and experts from varied disciplines on one platform. It will focus on issues and challenges faced by the management fraternity. CONFLUENCIA 2008 makes an earnest attempt at not only defining the problem statements but also at evolving sustainable solutions by leveraging the knowledge base of some of the leading experts from the industry. The event will aim at providing an absorbing learning environment for all the participants through peer learning and brainstorming sessions.The event will see active participation from the next generation of managers from the Department of Management Studies and students from other Departments of IIT Roorkee making it a truly interdisciplinary event. CONFLUENCIA 2008 will provide a great opportunity for the students in IIT Roorkee to learn from the industry experts and augment their knowledge and understanding of the contemporary issues in the industry. The event will be open for participation from other engineering and B-Schools in the country as well.
